Who’s at the studio?

Who am I? I ask a lot of questions. My daughter hates that.

I’m the best, most awesomest... and yes, I know that’s not a word.

Depth costs time and energy.

We keep choosing it anyway — even when no one asks.

That’s a value, not a habit.

GRRRRR.... Oh, I don’t do anything. I have a stinky butt.

At the studio, we don’t stop at good UI—we design systems.

We don’t create characters—we create etymology, cosmology, and timelines.

We aren’t building a robot—we’re mapping GPIO pins, sensor ecology, and relational intent.

We’re not drawing a tarot deck—we’re researching symbolism, embodying intent, and building a framework to prevent misuse.

At Proctor House Studio, design and creation are ways of translating ideas into experiences that are intentional, human, and enduring.

For me, design is not just about how something looks—it’s about how it works, how it communicates, and how it resonates over time.

The studio is grounded in a commitment to depth, return, and meaning-making. The best work invites people back—to reflect, to discover something new, and to build a lasting relationship with it.

We don’t create to follow trends or produce noise—we create to refine ideas, uncover meaning, and contribute something authentic and lasting.

Every project is an opportunity to shape an experience that connects, inspires, and leads to the next vision.

A model rocket constructed from cardboard and other materials, assembled on a cluttered table in a room. The rocket is supported by a green stand and features a cylindrical body with markings and details. The room includes a kitchen in the background with various appliances and objects on the counter, and a decorative world map on the wall.
